Due to the complex processes currently employed in the construction of housing developments it is practically impossible to reduce the time for completion.Today the overall programme for a development of 30 dwellings requires a construction time of around 18 to 20 months.The execution of the new “Urban Cottage” results in the work being done in record time, reducing by six months the construction time to 12 to 14 months.Starting a development of 30 dwellings using the “Urban Cottage” concept means that the new homes could be delivered in 2016.What’s more, the future owners of these dwellings will be able to extend them to suit their particular needs, in the knowledge that such extension has already been planned for and defined.The new construction process will permit rapid access by young couples, singles, divorcees etc in fact all those with urgent needs and limited means.
